Kings
won their game against Priestfield Wanderers by a slim margin
of 8 runs. Having batted first Kings were dismissed for 146 being
bowled out in the 38 over. Plenty of batmen got starts, but the
best partnership of 34 was the highlight of the batting. Joel
Miah and Simon Pipe provided the backbone of the runs but Kings
lost their last four wickets for two runs to end with a disappointing
score.
Some
excellent bowling by Joel Miah and Richard Sones got Kings off
to a good start, Sones picking up 3-26. Wickets fell at regular
intervals throughout the PWCC innings with 6 batsmen getting out
for single figures. However a late rally by the lower swung the
game back in PWCC's favour. However with the game in its death
throws Joel Miah returned to take the last wicket and give Kings
a slender victory
