David 'Ming' Perry (also known as DP)
Debut: 1994 Appearances: 165 Player No: 023
Right hand bat, Right arm slow bowler

He can justifiably claim to be Kings' greatest ever player, having scored nearly 5500 runs and having scored 41 fifties and 6 centuries. He also has a note worthy record as an excellent fielder and before that as the Club's wicket keeper. He can also bowl as well! Continually complains about a lack of money, which is justified after the number of 'jugs' he has bought his team mates over the years. Always contributes both on and off the pitch and delivers much to a great atmosphere in the dressing room and the bar. Can often be found hanging around close to Steve Smith just is case there is a spare smoke on offer! Highly regarded and respected by both team mates and opponents, he has served as the Club Vice Captain for several seasons before standing down for the 2005 season. Having set so many Club records including most runs in a season (780) his one ambition is to reclaim the record for the highest score which he held for many years with 115. Supporter of Fulham FC
