Had the honour of being the first batsman to take guard for Kings in the first game back in 1994. Has held the post of President since 1995 and has a played a fundamental part in the success of Kings throughout the years. Although the elder statesman of the club he can still produce the goods as he proved on several occasions in 2004. Against Richmond Nomads he took four outstanding catches (a new club record) and showed plenty of defiance to deny the archenemy; Pyestock when they thought they could turn Kings over for the first time in eight years. Although mostly level headed, providing the father figure of leadership for the rest of the side, he is not unknown to make his feelings clearly known to all (the pitch condition at East Meon brought a suitable string of comments!) and can be a key component in the sledging department should a member of the opposition rub him up the wrong way.
Above all a man who loves cricket and loves Kings even more. Yet another rare breed - a QPR fan!
